Smoked Chili Salt Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A fiery twist on an Italian classic. Bold, simple, and full of smoky heat. Ready in minutes, it’s perfect for a quick lunch or no-fuss dinner with serious flavour.
INGREDIENTS:
200g spaghetti
3 tbsp olive oil
3–4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
1–2 tsp smoked chili salt
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional: Grated parmesan or pecorino
METHOD:
1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until golden and fragrant.
3. Toss in the cooked spaghetti, add a splash of pasta water, and season with smoked chili salt. Mix well to coat.
4. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and cheese if desired.
5. Simple, smoky, and seriously satisfying.
