Truffle Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic cookies with a gourmet edge—this cookies combine rich, gooey chocolate with the earthy elegance of truffle salt. Sweet, savoury, and impossible to stop at just one.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
½–1 tsp truffle salt (plus extra for sprinkling)

METHOD:

1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and truffle salt.

4. Scoop dough onto the tray. Sprinkle each cookie lightly with extra truffle salt.

5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centres are soft. Cool slightly before serving.
