Ham with Truffle Glaze
A show-stopping, savory centerpiece, succulent leg ham glazed with a luxurious black truffle-infused glaze, caramelized to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 whole leg ham
- Cloves (for studding)
- 2 - 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp black truffle oil
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven. Place the leg ham on a sheet of foil.
2. Trim the skin if needed, then make shallow diamond-shaped slits across the surface.
3. Stud the ham with cloves, spacing them evenly.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, honey, and black truffle oil until smooth.
5. Brush the glaze generously all over the ham, making sure it seeps into the cuts.
6. Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake in the oven until heated through and caramelized, basting occasionally with extra glaze.
7. Remove from the oven and let the ham rest for a few minutes before carving.
