Spooky Stuffed Mushrooms

Earthy, smoky, and devilishly delicious. These bite-sized mushrooms are filled with a creamy, garlicky mixture and elevated with the bold, savoury flavour of Kiwi Artisan Manuka Wood Smoked Olives. They’re the perfect eerie appetizer for your Halloween spread — easy to make, hauntingly good to eat.

INGREDIENTS
- 12 medium brown mushrooms, stems removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 100g cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp Kiwi Artisan Manuka Wood Smoked Olives, whole and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp mixed herbs (such as parsley, thyme, or chives), chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste

METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, chopped Manuka Smoked Olives, herbs, and the sautéed garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps and arrange them on the tray.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden on top.
